For those who have may have been living under a rock, the Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa in Iceland and is one of the most visited attractions in the country. The warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help some people suffering from skin diseases such as psoriasis, the minerals rich mud is also great for the skin.
