Tickets are now on sale for the 4th annual Recovery Jam presented by Crews Subaru, a benefit concert and artist gallery to raise funds for Lowcountry recovery programs, and to celebrate artists of all types in active, self-supporting recovery.  Alongside several visual artists who will exhibit during the event’s gallery hours, Recovery Jam will host country singer-songwriter and Nashville local, Jaime Wyatt as this year’s headliner. Aside from playing Stagecoach Music Festival this year, and touring with bands like The Revivalists and The Head & The Heart, the country star is set to release her third studio album in November. Wyatt was recently named one of the five female artists creating the future of country music by GRAMMY.com. The event will also feature Lowcountry native, Jamisun. “We’re super thrilled to invite Jaime to the Lowcountry just as her star is on the rise,” said Ray Spellerberg, Board Chair/Founder for Recovery Jam. “Her story is a true testament to the miracles recovery can bring, and we can’t wait to see her rock the stage.” Recovery Jam’s philanthropic mission is to provide charitable contributions to local recovery programs in the Charleston area. This year’s beneficiary is WakeUp Carolina, a nonprofit recovery community organization dedicated to providing awareness, promoting education, and creating hope in recovery for young adults, individuals, and families touched by substance use through collaborative community partnerships, trusted resources, and support services in the Tri-County. “We are honored to have the support of Recovery Jam,” said Nanci Steadman, Executive Director for WakeUp Carolina. “The money raised will go directly toward our biggest need: Scholarship for Treatment, which sponsors the entire spectrum of recovery needs, inclusive of sober living and detox solutions, as well as non-traditional rehabilitation needs such as therapy for family members.” The event will be held October 7th, 2023 from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Isle of Palms Exchange Club. A limited number of pre-sale tickets are available for $35 until September 3rd and thereafter $45. You can learn more about the event by visiting www.recoveryjamchs.com or Recovery Jam Facebook.
