Broken Social Scene is an indie rock band from Canada that performs with 6 to 19 members. Formed in 1999, it often combines the instrumental expertise of its members which creates a baroque pop style of music. Its 2010 album Forgiveness Rock Record topped the Canadian Albums Chart.
