In This Moment is an American rock band formed by guitarist, Chris Howorth, and singer, Maria Brink, in 2005. They started the band with the name, Dying Star. Unsatisfied with their musical direction, they changed their stage name and released their album, Beautiful Tragedy, in 2007.
