Bonneville Fish Hatchery
This was an unexpectedly cool little excursion a little past Multnomah Falls outside Portland. The hatchery has tons of trout and giant sturgeon in big outdoor ponds and tanks - all stages of development - which are eventually released into the rivers to replenish local stocks. Beautiful place to wander around with the kids and also has a very nice souvenir shop tailored to the theme.
