The Phantom of the Opera’s first performance was on October 9, 1986, making it one of the longest-running show in Broadway history. This musical is by Andrew Lloyd Webber. This enticing tale of the Phantom is based on the Gaston Leroux’s horror novel, who haunts the stage of the Paris Opera and subsequently falls in love with a beautiful young soprano. Is it a happy ending? Come find out on your own! The performance is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission. I saw this performance twice and I love it more each time!
