3/3 Grammy Award Winning Ranky Tanky will make their return to Davidson College as part of the Smith Artist Series. Native South Carolinians, Ranky Tanky (loosely translated as “Work It!” or “Get Funky!”) bring life to the soulful songs of Gullah culture, fusing them with elements of jazz, gospel, funk, and R&B.
