LOCALS RIDE FREE DAY: On Sunday, January 23rd, Palmetto Carriage Works will host its 11th annual “Locals Ride Free Day” after pausing last year due to the pandemic. Charleston area residents are invited to visit the Big Red Barn, meet the animals, and take a free ride. Tours leave from 8 Guignard Street in downtown Charleston and will run from 9 am to 4 pm. The company is also offering free parking in their lot at 22 Anson Street, but spots are limited and are first come first serve – yet another reason to show up early. For more information, call 843-723-8145 or visit www.palmettocarriage.com.
