The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System’s annual Charleston Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 6th, at 12 pm, and will include historic military vehicles, motorcycle groups, and Veterans service organization floats. This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Major Mark Holyfield, United States Marine Corps Reserve. The parade will kick-off at the corner of Market Street and East Bay Street with a welcome address from Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System Director and CEO Scott Isaacks followed by remarks from Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg. After the remarks, Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System’s own Simone Wilson will sing the national anthem and a C-17 Globemaster III will flyover from Joint Base Charleston’s 437th Airlift Wing.
