Santa Catalina Island
posted in The Best Of SoCal
The first time I came to Catalina was in 1984 for Camp Fox, I was in 6th grade. Since then I was hooked on this small island off the shores of Los Angeles. A trip to Catalina Island can be a quick day trip to Avalon, a weekend, camping or however long you like. To get here you can take a ferry from the main land. Or if you have a boat, you can bring it into the harbour. There are also helicopter and small planes that will bring you to the island. Enjoy!
