When staying in Dublin for the first time we had heard the same recommendation over and over again, stay near Temple Bar. After doing some searching we came across Blooms Hotel and let me just say, it was fantastic. The location could not get better, it was right in Temple Bar Square, a short walk to Trinity College and the River as well. We truly felt we could get anywhere we needed to in under 15 minutes walking. The rooms were great and very spacious, wifi worked great, beds were very comfortable, and a pub right inside! Magda works at the front desk and was there to guide us with everything we needed from finding somewhere for breakfast with exactly what we wanted to finding a bus to Galway and even printing us our tickets. Dana works at the Bar in the hotel and was also very helpful in assisting us with finding places nearby that we just couldn’t miss out on! Overall Blooms is not the cheapest of places to stay in Dublin but I felt it was worth it for our few nights in the area to feel safe walking everywhere and feel overly comfortable in our room!
