BĂ©la Fleck and the Flecktones are a jazz-bluegrass band from the United States. When BĂ©la Fleck was invited to appear on the PBS TV series The Lonesome Pine Specials in 1988, he founded the Flecktones. Fleck, on banjo, Victor Wooten, Roy Wooten, and Howard Levy were the initial members.
