Gastown is another beautiful spot in Vancouver, great for walking around and check shops out. The streets are made of brick, which was said to be gifted when Canada traded lumber with the China. On the way to China the boats would be weighted with wood and in order to make the crossing back after delivery, they would fill them with brick. Then not knowing what to do with all the brick they created the streets that are now Gastown. I recommend spending a day walking around. Start at Waterfront Station and follow Water Street to Main Street. Eats along the way include The Flying Pig, Guu, Meat and Bread, Tacofino (has a great patio for the summer), Salt (wine bar), Meet (Vegan),
