I know that the default waterfalls to visit in Jamaica is Dunns River falls in Ocho Rios, but quite frankly it's my least favourite place in Jamaica. If you like crowds of people holding hands to climb to the top and no seclusion in your pics then this could definatly be the place for you. If not, Reach Falls in Portland hands down is my favourite waterfall in Jamaica. It's mostly visited by locals, well kept and I've never once visited and it's crowded or busy so great for gettin that solo shot. The best part about this waterfall is that it's almost a mini-adventure you feel that you have to conquor before you reach the top. In the middle of the waterfall there's a cave you'll have to climb through to get to the other side. There's also a section of the falls that you can jump into a small lagoon to swim to the other side. At the entrance you pay a very small fee to enter an a fall guide and life gaurd will accompany you on a tour and ensure you're safe. Tips are welcomed and reccomended as these guys work very hard to ensure you had a great tour and you're back on the ground safely.
