Dublin
We flew into Dublin late Thursday night and stayed over at Bewleys hotel right near the airport. It was incredibly inexpensive through bookings.com especially since it’s a hotel (not a hostel). We got a family room for 4 for like 60euros and theres a restaurant and bar in the lobby. The next morning we took a cab from the hotel to the meeting place for the tour which is in downtown Dublin. When we returned from the tour late Sunday night we stayed in downtown Dublin at the Abraham House (hostel) which was fine but nothing special about it really. (You could see if shamrocker tours has any suggestions on where to stay too.) Its about a 10 minute walk from Temple Bar which is the big nightlife area in Dublin. We flew out of Dublin really early the next morning. Though we were bummed we didn’t get to see much of Dublin all of the locals we met were saying that Dublin is the worst city in Ireland and that the places we saw on our tour were more “Irish.” Though I do hear that seeing the Guiness factory is cool. But to be honest your better off seeing places like county Kerry, cliffs of moher and Ennis than staying in Dublin for your whole trip.
