Lanikai Beach
Lanikai Beach, on the windward coast of Oahu, means 'heavenly sea' and it is not wrong. This small strip of beach is consistently voted as one of the best beaches in the world with some of the softest sand and most turquoise water I have ever seen. There is also a hike up the hills behind the beach which gives you panoramic views of the area and the two islands in the distance.
