Climbing a volcano - Lava roasted marshmallows? All possible, if you climb a volcano. And the views are simply amazing!

Tortugranja
Tortugranja - Isla Mujeres is so beautiful, it's surrounded by the bluest water I have ever seen, but nothing was more beautiful to me than visiting Sea Turtle Farm and holding a one day old baby sea turtle. I cried and it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life!

Snorkeling/Diving - Belize Barrier Reef is the second largest coral reef system in the world, if you get a chance, definitely try snorkeling or diving there. I still tell everyone about that time I got to pet a baby shark!

Trek a Ciudad Perdida con Wiwa Tour
Ciudad Perdidad Trek - 4 day trek, litres of sweat, heat, rain, lots of pain, but it was so worth it! Breath-taking views, waterfalls, mountains, learning about indigenous cultures and making new friends for life!

Cookery Classes - I love cooking and I love food! Spending a day on a farm, learning about different herbs and spices, learning how to cook my favorite thai dishes - it was an incredible day!

Learning to dance salsa - I am a horrible dancer. THE WORST, but I was lucky enough to find some great salsa teachers there, who showed me how it's done (without laughing at my poor skills)

El Tunco
Surf lessons - It turned out that my surf instructor was just a local kid, but he was so patient with me. I had the best time and I loved El Tunco, a tiny village where after 2 days you basically know everyone!

Crossing the border on foot - It sounds silly, but I loved walking from one country to another on foot. Going through the border control, seeing economical and cultural differences between two countries, while crossing the border was a fantastic experience.

Lanta Animal Welfare
Visiting an animal shelter- I loved hearing the story of each and every rescued dog, playing with cats. You can help by walking the dogs (how cool is that - playing with dogs while on holidays!), donating money or just ordering a coffee and cake from their café! It's really worth it!
