Eleven
Eleven is one of my favorite places to go for an occasion. It is a more upscale atmosphere with high quality food and you can tell they take a lot of time into how it is all prepared. My go to here is the beef tenderloin; let me tell you it actually will melt in your mouth! You need to get dessert as well, they are so pretty.

Vallozzi's Pittsburgh
Vallozzi’s has some great pasta meals in general. The inside is fancy as well, yet not entirely too expensive. It is a great place to go for a nice/time consuming dinner with your family. I love the bread here! It’s one of my favorites and it comes with your meal.

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse
I do not know where to start here other than I beg anyone to come here. The best steakhouse I have ever been to. They take care of you here like no other and make sure you are given your food exactly how expected, or it will be fixed immediately. Everything is good here, seriously you can not go wrong with anything on the menu. I have been here several times and only get more and more impressed. Additionally, all of the portions are big and correlate properly with the prices.

DiAnoia's Eatery
Dioanas is a new Italian eatery in the strip that you need to go to. Everything is so pleasing about the space there, and the food is a true Italian cooked meal. Their gnocchi served sorrentina style (in a bread bowl with unreal amounts of cheese and vodka sauce) may be one of the best things to ever enter my mouth. I was dying to go here for a solid 4 months and can not wait to go back- people come out the state just for this gnocchi!

Point Brugge Cafe
This is a great location for a more casual dinner. It is a smaller space, and less fancy but the menu still provides a more upscale quality of food. The oysters with the frites and sauce are amazing! I would go there just for those and some drinks. However, their daily specials are constantly varying and make me want to go every night! In the summer they have the big windows open as well.

Cure
The Cure sure makes the food cured to perfection. I really liked my meal when I went here. Although, they are smaller, and quite pricey, it is well worth it. You know the meats are only some of the finest, and they take a decent amount of time to make each plate. The menu is not very big, so anything you get you’ll love! I also got to know the owners a bit, and they travel to California at least once a month to get their ingredients/meats.

or, The Whale
Or, the whale is in the Pittsburgh Distrikt hotel downtown. This area is so pretty, as you walk in, you look down below and there is the restaurant! It is a very cool concept of architecture. Their savory waffle is a MUST. A cornbread waffle loaded with bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, and a cheese sauce.

Meat & Potatoes
Meat and Potatoes is one of those restaurants you can go to every week and not get sick of! They have meats beyond meats, so if you’re a meat lover this is your place. Yet, they have delicious sides as well as desserts that are very good.

Revel
Revel/Roost is a two story restaurant. Revel is on the first floor and is more of a bar, laid back area, where bands are typically every Friday night. Then, Roost is the upstairs is an extremely modernized area for a classier experience. I got the pleasure to attend a chef’s tasting at the Roost and loved what they had to offer.

Ten Penny
Ten penny is right on the main street in the cultural district where a lot of hip, and lively restaurants are. I enjoyed the whole vibes here and the menu was detailed. Their burger may have been one of the best I’ve had in the city, and would most definitely go back again just for it. They have a solid bar scene, and night life.
