Dalessandro's Steaks
Make the trek out to Roxborough for your cheesesteak while you're visiting. It'll be worth it for the best one in Philly, plus you can explore the Manayunk area.

Geno’s Steaks
Your choice, we have other favorites but these guys have the oldest rivalry around, and they're both cheesesteaks steeped in Philly tradition. Plus East Passyunk is a spectable to behold.

Cleavers
If you're in Center City this is a good, clean sandhwich shope with plenty of second floor seating, drinks (both adult and non alcoholic) and very solid food, including cheesesteaks.

John's Roast Pork
Don't let the name fool you, Roast Pork isn't the only thing John does right. The cheesesteaks are phenomenal. Go with a partner and split one of each! Just don't try to get whiz on your sandwiches here, real cheese only.

Anna's Sandwich Shop
Located blocks away from another place on the list, Mike and Emma's, Anna's is further proof that the best cheesesteaks don't have to be found directly in the city of Philadelphia.

Larry's Steaks
If you're willing to brave the traffic nightmare that is City Ave., make a pit stop at Larry's on the way. This late night, West Philly destination serves its monstrous creation the "belly-filler" that will leave your whole squad stuffed.

Chubby's Steaks
Don't let this place be overshadowed by its more famous next door neighbor, Dallessandro's. Chubby's does their own solid sandwiches. Don't think about it as just a convenient alternative for when Dallessandro's is too crowded.
