Malaysia was not on our list at first, but it was the most unexpected surprise. From the beautiful beaches on Langkawi and Perhentian islands, the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur, the street art in Penang, and the delicious food, this country should be on everyone’s list

It’s surprising that this old country is almost unknown to travellers. It has a rich history and culture. It is set in the most beautiful setting, the food is delicious, the people are kind and the views are breathtaking.

Although the roads to get around may be long and winding, every inch of this country is worth exploring. The Sahara desert is like nowhere on earth, the electric vibe of Marrakech is undeniable, the laid-back mood of Chefchaouen is so relaxing. There are even beaches if you want to get out of the heat.

Not as expensive as Japan, this country was such a surprise to us. The amazing waterfalls of Jeju island, the beaches in Busan, the hike up Mount Hallasan, the Mask festival in Andong and the beautiful city and temples in Seoul. There is really something for everyone here

Ok so we are Canadian, and might be biased, but Canada’s beauty will impress you from coast to coast. From the rocky mountains all the way through the great plains to the Maritimes, you will undoubtably see animals you probably wouldn’t see back home. So watch out for the moose, the beavers, make sure to stock up on some maple sirup before heading home
