Pyramids of Meroe
Arguably the best travel experience of my life. Such an adventure just getting out there: zero tourists or other people, older than the Egyptian pyramids, and no lines, selfie sticks or even entrance. Just drive up (ideally by camel) and explore on your own

Potala Palace
It’s a gigantic huge temple palace thing- what else could you ask for?

BSR Cable Park
The only spot I truly loved while I lived in Texas. An insane water slide that shoots people straight up, a surf park, and a whole lot more. Great people watching

Verzasca Dam
Forget the Hoover dam- this dam has the second highest bunjee jump in the world and was filmed in James Bond

Exuma
Far more secluded and incredible than the bigger Bahamas islands- perfect for a long boat ride to explore. We had one of the best family trips of our lives here- just incredible and not too far from the states 🙃

The Northern Coast of Oman
We had a fantastic drive along the coast here and I was incredibly surprised- there are unbelievable mountains that reach right to the water, which is a bright blue color. Plus there are no crowds of tourists or people- it’s completely isolated and truly off the beaten path
