Another great Gowanus hang, perfect to grab a casual weekend lunch (they serve Mexican food) and drink or sit down for a full dinner. The outdoor space is great and you can stop by Givers & Takers next door for a drink while you wait for your table

Located in Brooklyn Navy Yard, a nice rooftop wine bar with tables, hammocks. They grow their own grapes on the roof, but until that’s ready they source from local vineyards. ** Reservation only **

Pig Beach
Fun and lively - and often times packed on a nice weekend. They have good cocktails and food to order (BBQ) and games and music outside. It can get very busy with a line to get in, so get there early and stake out a spot

Brooklyn Crab
Famous Red Hook spot is a must visit on a warm day. Lots of picnic-table seating (in the front, back, and upstairs where you can get fresh seafood and drinks (frosé is dangerous). There’s also a free mini golf course in the back - just hop on and play a few holes!

The Roof
Big rooftop bar in Gowanus - it’s technically part of Whole Foods but doesn’t feel like it. Tasty bites, wine-only menu, and a nice place to hang out (even if it is part of a grocery store)
