The best baked goods in San Diego are at Wayfarer. Hands down. Stop by for a breakfast sandwich on their housemade english muffins, order a cappucino & take some croissants and a loaf of sourdough to go.

Cool, locally owned small chain of coffee shops known for their cold brew. The Little Italy outpost called "the Space" houses their coffee bar and roastery in an industrial setting along with other local shops for your perusing pleasure.

Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee
Coffee and doughnuts are a match made in heaven. And, no exaggeration, these are the best doughnuts I've ever had. They have tons of specialty flavors (Rosemary Lemon Drop, Thin Mint, Apple Fritter & more) but the classics, like the Butter & Salt, are my favorite. Oh, and the coffee selection is incredible as well.
