Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan
Wat Arun and Wat Pho are two of the most famous temples of Thailand and both are located closely to the river banks of the Chao Phraya. Not only are these temples magnificent, but they are also a must for every first-time visitor to Thailand, as religion is such a vital part of Thai culture and heritage. However, please respect the temple dress code and make sure to cover yourselves apprropriately.

ICONSIAM
Bangkok is known to be a city of countless malls, which modern Thais flock to in order to cool down and mingle. ICON Siam is one of the newest malls and by far one of the most spectacular ones due to its breathtaking architecture, variety of shops and food options and of course its creative interior design.

Canal Tour Bangkok
Many people forget that Bangkok is also known as the Venice of the East, having a sheer endless system of canals, rivers, bridges. Thus it is a great idea to explore the city on the water by renting a private longtail boat in order to get a feeling of how people used to and still live in Bangkok.

Floating Market Bangkok Tour Agency
Most people traveling to Thailand dream of visiting one of its charming floating markets, but due to the large variety in floating markets its important to do proper research! There are huge, lively and touristy markets far from the city (Damnoen Saduak), but there are also small and local markets (Khlong Lat Mayom) as well as authentic and fun markets closer to the city (Talin Chan).

The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar
I love Bangkok's countless skyscrapers, often unique in design. Many of these skyscrapers offer rooftop bars with incredible (sunset) views and seemingly endless arrays of perfect coktails for the occasion. My favourites are Vertigo (Banyan Tree), Octave (Marriott), and Park Society (Sofitel So), but of course you also need to check out the famous rooftop bar of Sky Bar (Lebua at State Tower). Just make sure to check the dress code before going!

Authors' Lounge
Thailand is the only country in Southeast Asia that was never colonised by Europeans. However, there are colonial style buildings along the riverside, including the stunning Author's Wing of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, which has existed in the location for over 140 years. This place is not just picturesque, but is also famous for its hospitality, which will make you feel like royalty.

Silom Night Market
As Bangkok is generally hot and stuffy during the day, it truly comes alive at night, when countless markets open their stands to sell clothes, toys, memorabilia, electronics, food, etc. It's a lot of fun to wander around night markets, such as Rot Fai Market, and try your luck at haggling down prices of some great souvenirs for yourself and your loved ones.

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya is the old capital of Thailand, which was destroyed in the 18th century. However, it is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, as there are numerous temples, reliquary towers, monasteries, etc. to be explored. And it's only about an hour outside of Bangkok (depending on traffic conditions, of course).
