Heads up, carnivores. CLT Burger Week is back! Actually, it’s more than a week. The 7th annual celebration of the Queen City’s best burger offerings runs August 12-21. According to the Charlotte Observer, more than 25 local restaurants across the Charlotte area are participating in CLT Burger Week, including Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Jack Beagles, Brazwell’s, French Quarter Tavern, Kid Cashew, Angry Ales, and The Local. Each will be serving up specialty burgers for just $6.
The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight is a sophisticated musical ensemble dedicated to performing elegant orchestral versions of classic rock and pop tunes. Reimagined through the lush and complex sounds of a classical orchestra, the group is known for its modern interpretations of timeless classics, widening the audience of these beloved songs. With special attention to detail and masterful instrumentation, they flawlessly merge classical and rock music, breaking down the boundaries between genres.
Allison Russell is a singer-songwriter, poet, multi-instrumentalist and activist from Canada. In 2022, she earned multiple Grammy nominations and a couple of Juno Awards with her debut solo album Outside Child.
Rodrigo y Gabriela is a Mexican acoustic guitar combo influenced by a variety of genres such as nuevo flamenco, rock, and heavy metal. Instrumental flamenco guitar duets make up the majority of the duo’s recordings. They have five studio albums, three live albums, and one EP to their credit.
