Bora Bora
This was one of our best trips in Asia. Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful atolls in the Pacific thanks to the distinctive looking 727 meter Mount Otemanu, a dormant volcano, rising up out of the center. Stay in a hotel with bungalows over the water - waking up with a dive from your bedroom into the pristine waters below is like nothing else. We also loved swimming with the stingrays in the lagoon and swimming with the black tip and nurse sharks outside the protective reef in deep blue open waters of the South Pacific. We stayed at Le Meridien where they have a great private lagoon where you can snorkel with numerous fish species and turtles. That said, newer luxury hotels have since opened up that probably have nicer rooms and facilities.

A curated program of live entertainment, rotating food trucks and family-friendly activities will enhance the farmers’ market experience. Addressing one of the key strategies in the City of Charleston’s 2014 West Ashley Strategic Plan, the WAFM will continue to help create community partnerships and reactivate civic spaces.
