Murderous Yarns - Knitting/crocheting circle at CCPL's Main Branch. People can drop in the first Wednesday of each month between 11:00 - 12:00 with a craft project (if they have one) while we work, listen to true crime podcasts, and eat cookies.

Summer is (almost) here and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is throwing a party to celebrate. Called “Hello Summer,” the event will be held nationwide at Jeni’s scoop shops on Monday, June 5th from 7 pm until close. See below for what’s in store. Hotel Bennett

Hotel Bennett will be hosting a special celebration of Ruinart Champagne and artistry on Tuesday, June 6th, in the spirit of Spoleto Festival USA. Entitled “Don’t RuinArt - An Evening of Champagne and Artistry,” bubbles will be flowing as local artists live paint Maison Ruinart’s iconic second skin casings to be raffled off to a few lucky guests. Sip the contemporate and conscious jewel of Champagne while enjoying live music, canapés and breezy views overlooking Marion Square Park.  Set on the hotel’s outdoor Piazza, tickets cost $95 and can be purchased here.

The week will come to a close with a star-studded weekend with live performances by GOODIE MOB Featuring CEE LO GREEN on Friday June 16th and a special concert finale Saturday June 17th.
