Lowcountry Artists Gallery presents a new exhibition of photographs by Nicole Robinson for the month of June in a show entitled “Wave Therapy.” An opening reception will be held at Lowcountry Artists Gallery, 148 East Bay Street, on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5-8 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served and the artist will be in attendance. The exhibit showcases Nicole's latest collection of photographs that bring relaxation and happiness by the shore and beyond. Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game - On September 8, 2014, Charleston County Sheriff's Deputy Joe Matuskovic was killed in the line of duty. His memory continues to be honored with the 9th Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game. The game is scheduled for Friday, June 2, at 7pm at Carolina Ice Palace. The evening will showcase two games involving first responders and the military: The Charleston Enforcers vs. Charleston Fire and Richland Blueliners vs. Myrtle Beach Fire. The game is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated. The funds raised will support the families of fallen first responders and those in need of assistance.
