Summer is (almost) here and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is throwing a party to celebrate. Called “Hello Summer,” the event will be held nationwide at Jeni’s scoop shops on Monday, June 5th from 7 pm until close. See below for what’s in store. Creative Flow: Yoga in the Gallery - This weekly, donation-based yoga class is held in the main gallery at Redux Contemporary Art Center. Join us for a creative approach to Vinyasa yoga practice surrounded by artwork in our light-filled space. Bourbon N' Bubbles

Ever wanted to learn more about bourbon, the differences between Rye, Blended, Straight and more? Then join us every 1st Tuesday of the month as our Certified Bourbon Steward, Will Baber, teaches on the finer points of Bourbon, through a variety of tastings and pours featuring some of the best Bourbons available. Join us for a bourbon tasting class and learn about the history, production, and tasting of this iconic American spirit. In this class, you will taste four different bourbons from different regions of the United States. You will also learn about the different flavor profiles of bourbon and how to properly taste it. This is a great opportunity to learn more about bourbon and to enjoy some delicious whiskey with friends. The class will be led by a certified bourbon expert who will share their knowledge and passion for this spirit. You will learn about the different types of bourbon, the history of bourbon production, and the different flavor profiles of bourbon. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this fascinating spirit. This is a great event for anyone who loves bourbon or who is interested in learning more about it. The class is fun and informative, and you will leave with a deeper understanding of this beloved American spirit.

Hotel Bennett

Hotel Bennett will be hosting a special celebration of Ruinart Champagne and artistry on Tuesday, June 6th, in the spirit of Spoleto Festival USA. Entitled “Don’t RuinArt - An Evening of Champagne and Artistry,” bubbles will be flowing as local artists live paint Maison Ruinart’s iconic second skin casings to be raffled off to a few lucky guests. Sip the contemporate and conscious jewel of Champagne while enjoying live music, canapés and breezy views overlooking Marion Square Park.  Set on the hotel’s outdoor Piazza, tickets cost $95 and can be purchased here.
