Lesotho
Yesterday, in #Lesotho, I witnessed one of the most interesting communities in all my travels. This 70-something grandmother (along with 2 others) live in isolated caves, in tiny grey & orange houses that are made from cow manure and soil. They have been living in this exact spot since the 1940s, decades before Lesotho gained independence from #Britain in 1966 🇱🇸🇬🇧 They live very simple lives, and seemed as happy as I’ve seen any human.
