Summer is (almost) here and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is throwing a party to celebrate. Called “Hello Summer,” the event will be held nationwide at Jeni’s scoop shops on Monday, June 5th from 7 pm until close. See below for what’s in store. FREE ICE CREAM Jeni’s Splendid Rewards members get free scoops (up to a signature) during the event To become a member, download the Jeni’s app and sign up SWAG BAGS The first 25 folks in line at their neighborhood scoop shop will receive swag bags filled with Jeni’s merch SNEAK PEEK Jeni’s has some new things coming down the pipeline—and all partygoers get a first look To round out Jeni’s kickoff to summer, their popular Wedding Cake ice cream returns on Thursday, June 8th. The flavor features vanilla cake with lemon, blackberries, and buttercream icing. The local Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams shop can be found at 501-A King Street.

Murderous Yarns - Knitting/crocheting circle at CCPL's Main Branch. People can drop in the first Wednesday of each month between 11:00 - 12:00 with a craft project (if they have one) while we work, listen to true crime podcasts, and eat cookies.

Kid Tours: A Legacy in Silk - Discover the story of the girl who helped to bring indigo to Charleston. Enjoy the rare  opportunity to view Eliza’s gown and some of her personal belongings. Kid Tours is a series  designed to highlight artifacts from our collection that have fascinated children for years. Kid  Tours meet every Wednesday during the months of June and July at 3:30 pm. This program  includes a tour highlighting the weekly theme and an engaging craft project or educational  activity.  FREE for Members and FREE with admission to The Charleston Museum.
