Visiting the hot springs is an easy escape from the city. The shrine by the thermal lake is scenic and relaxing. Public hot spring bathing is a great way to unwind and meet the local community. Entrance is 40 TWD (very cheap), but they are very particular about acceptable swimwear. Take the metro to the Xinbeitou station and follow the signs up the hill 🤙🏼
