Fushimi Inari Taisha
This is *the* spot people think of when they think of Kyoto - and for good reason! The iconic red gates actually run all the way up the mountain and are part of a shrine. Make sure to time your hike so that you can catch the sunset at the top. There’s a perfect view over the city with the sun setting behind mountains.
