Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral
This is the heart of the historic downtown of Mexico City- the cathedral is great but be sure to check out all the surrounding areas in Zócalo. The ruins of the ancient city are right around the corner, as well as expansive markets and shows from performers in the square nearby. Easy to spend a great afternoon in this area (or take a walking tour here)
