Hyatt Place Glendale/Los Angeles
posted in The Best Of SoCal
Glendale has changed!! I grew up in this city so every time I return there is something different. The Glendale Hyatt Place is new and I honestly do not remember what was torn down in order for it to be built. Anyhow, it is nice to see a Hyatt Place in Glendale. I always stayed at the Glendale Hilton but this location is more convenient. The Hyatt Place is close to everything- The Galleria, Americana, Brand Blvd and PORTO'S! I am a Hyatt member and if you are too, your perks are great. I used my points to book a free room, received bottled water every day, got a room upgrade and free breakfast. Use your points! This is a valet only hotel, which is common in L.A. It does cost extra but it is very convenient to text for your car with a response of an ETA. Then get in your car and go There is a nice gym and pool at this location. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. They are what you expect for a Hyatt House, a room with an added sitting area. The breakfasts are good here, complimentary or not. A lot of hot food items, cereals, juices, etc. There is also a bar that offers your typical beer, wine and cocktails. Something that I needed when I arrived! Honestly, this is now my choice for a hotel when I come back to my hometown. The location is very important to me and the perks are too!
