Little Tokyo

I have been going to Little Tokyo for a long time. I remember in 1991 going on a college date to a restaurant here. That restaraunt and boyfriend relationship no longer exist but the whole Little Tokyo lives on! There is a lot to see and eat here. You can easily spend a day shopping, checking out the museum and being epicurious in Little Tokyo. I have bought some great items in LT- a kimono, jewelry, pastries and most recently a pretty sweater from a boutique. For food there are so many ramen places here, they are literally next to each other. If ramen isn't your thing you have your choices of tepanyaki, sushi, tea houses, bakeries, etc. Great glutenous behavior can be had here. Parking is inexpensive for LA, you can park on a Saturday night for around $7 flat rate. You can also take the Metro since there is a Little Tokyo stop.
