The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles

The Best Of SoCal
My room was very comfortable and simple with a heavenly bed. I didn't want to leave it so I ordered room service and ate my breakfast wearing the white robe provided. Then I dragged myself out of the room to hit the hotel gym!
Have you ever been to the Bonaventure? It has 1970s architecture written all over it but the good part of the 70s! The interior is open with ceilings that do not seem to exist. There are winding steps, bridges, little seating balconies and those glass elevators that just slide up and down with ease. It is a beautiful hotel, the architectural details are incredible for the time but was common in larger cities.
I still love this nostalgic hotel. My curiosity as a 70s-80s kid got the best of me and it still does!
