Kid Tours: A Legacy in Silk - Discover the story of the girl who helped to bring indigo to Charleston. Enjoy the rare opportunity to view Eliza’s gown and some of her personal belongings. Kid Tours is a series designed to highlight artifacts from our collection that have fascinated children for years. Kid Tours meet every Wednesday during the months of June and July at 3:30 pm. This program includes a tour highlighting the weekly theme and an engaging craft project or educational activity. FREE for Members and FREE with admission to The Charleston Museum.
The Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival is back with another star -studded affair highlighting Black Excellence with food, music & more. The week will come to a close with a star-studded weekend with live performances by GOODIE MOB Featuring CEE LO GREEN on Friday June 16th and a special concert finale Saturday June 17th. On the first Tuesday of every month, Parisian-inspired restaurant Félix offers a tasting menu with paired cocktails. The next dinner will take place on Tuesday, June 6th, with seatings from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. With five-courses total, each dish is accompanied by a signature Cathead Vodka-inspired cocktail, selected to highlight Félix’s curated menu. Guests can expect the following libations to accompany their meal: Watermelon Sugar – Honeysuckle Vodka with Watermelon and Basil Shrub, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Soda, and Chilled Watermelon Ice Cubes Milky Chance – Bitter Orange Vodka with Clarified Milk Punch, Citrus, Tea, and Simple Syrup Sweet Caroline – Fat Washed Pecan Vodka, Demerara, Benedictine, and Bitters Not Quite an Espresso Martini – Hoodoo, Cold Brew Infused Hoodoo Chicory Liqueur, Cocchi di Torino Vermouth, Averna, and Bitters Raspberry Beret – Raspberry Vodka with Orange Juice, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Green Chartreuse, and Egg White The cost is $65 for the coursed meal and an additional $85 for drink pairings ($150 total).
