Museum of Death
A must-stop while in NOLA. A museum that’s not only educational about death and medical innovations over time but also a fascinating look into the twisted minds of infamous serial killers through photos, newspaper clippings, journal entries, and other memorabilia. Not for weak stomachs. But very fascinating to learn more about some of the sickest minds in history. (No photography allowed)

You can purchase in advance or at the event. about the show We are thrilled to bring back Ginger Minj’s Winter Wonderland! A Christmas Musical and Drag Spectacular Feat. Gidget Galore in what has become a Holiday tradition here at CMH. Ginger competed in Season 7 and All Stars Season 2 of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and we cannot wait to see her jingle bell rock. This show has it all: song, dance, comedy, costumes, and enough Holiday cheer to get you through the days with your in laws GINGER MINJ GINGER HAS LONG REIGNED AS THE COMEDY QUEEN OF THE SOUTH, WITH THE PAGEANT TITLES, INCLUDING “MISS GAY UNITED STATES 2013,” “MISS NATIONAL COMEDY QUEEN 2012” The self-professed “nicest bitch you’ll ever meet” cites classic funny ladies Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball as her idols. “Anyone who can pile three wigs on their head, squeeze their body into a beaded and rhinestoned gown and serve humor alongside the glamour is my hero,” says Ginger. That’s why she coined the term “Glamour Toad” to describe her unique persona. Ginger can be seen all over TV and movies including TNTs “Good Behavior”, Netflix’s “Dumplin’”,“Super Drags”, and “AJ and the Queen, Amazon Primes “The Coco Fondu Show” and Comedy Central’s “At Midnight with Chris Hardwick”! Gingers newest album “GummyBear” comes out in late 2020! GIDGET GALORE Gidget Galore has been a professional Orlando female impersonator since 2006. Gidget has enjoyed entertaining the night club circuit, corporate galas, public (and private) events and, most recently, was honored by the Mayor of Orlando with his Matching Grant as the hostess of “Drag Queen Story Hour” reading to the wonderful youngsters of Orlando at the gay and lesbian center. PATTI O’FURNITURE Patti O’Furniture was born out of a dare from the students of college professor Pat Patterson in the fall of 1999 and has followed a very non-traditional path into female impersonation ever since. Called the “yard sale with legs” because most of her initial costumes were gifts from other entertainers and fans, her mix of professionalism and quick wit have earned her a spot as one of the most sought-after emcees in the region. She first hit the stage on October 11, 1999 and has been entertaining audiences across the country ever since. From Los Angles to Boston and New York to New Orleans, she has worked at some of the most legendary clubs and with too many RuPaul’s Drag Race queens to count – but she’s a Southern girl at heart and will always be proud to call the Carolinas home. A fixture on the Charleston drag scene from her annual hosting of Charleston Pride or Big Gay Bingo for Palmetto Community Care, for the past two years she has hosted a monthly drag brunch show at Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company as well as and drag bingo at Pounce Cat Cafe. Patti can also be seen hosting the longest running drag show in Columbia, SC at PT’s 1109 on Assembly Street every Tuesday at 9pm. On Saturday nights, she hosts the SEXY SATURDAY Drag Show at the Bar @ 316 in Charlotte, NC where she has worked for the past eight years. In 2006 she was chosen as Miss South Carolina Pride but doesn’t need a title to support PRIDE where ever she goes. For the past several years, she has served as host and emcee for the Charlotte Pride, Salisbury (NC) Pride and Upstate SC Pride Festivals. For seven years, she hosted the SC Pride Parade live on WXRY 99.3 FM in Columbia. In 2010, Patti was crowned Miss Red Ribbon Friends in Myrtle Beach and spent her reign raising money for HIV/AIDS services along the SC coast. In 2012, she was presented with the crown and title of Vista Queen Emeritus for her fundraising for Trustus Theatre in Columbia where she help raise over $75,000. One thing has remained consistent since that very first show: every dollar that Patti collects on stage gets donated back to the community. All of her tips are donated to causes including HIV/AIDS prevention and education, animal welfare, LGBT civil rights, the environment and a host of local arts organizations. To date, she has raised over $1.5 million… one dirty dollar bill at a time!
