Let me start off by saying if you are coming to Ireland for only the traditional experience of pubs with live music and fish and chips this is not it. However, Zozimus was one of my favorite drink experiences! Zozimus is much more city like but so extremely unique and we truly felt so welcomed being there. The bright floating umbrella’s will immediately welcome you into the very chic establishment. To start, our server was one of the Bar managers Kitman and he was absolutely amazing. He took the time to not only listen to what we wanted and give us great recommendations but he gave us a ton of background information on Zozimus and how they craft each cocktail to be its very best extravagant self. I went with the Ronin which includes the roasted mango gin I will be talking about shortly, Ma went with the Zozimus Ultimate G’N’T, and dad the Rib Roast Fashioned. All of our drinks were unbelievable. Side note as well, I was obsessed with the very detailed menus that not only included pictures of the drinks, but the rankings of strength and put into categories such as party time, wild side, date night, and business first. You can genuinely tell how much time and effort has been put into Zozimus to make it as amazing as it is. They also have a wonderful dinning menu but unfortunately the kitchen is closed on Mondays to give staff a day off but we heard amazing things from other guests nearby us. We were also lucky enough to get to try their homemade Mango gin, and as I said to Kitman that night, I seriously could bathe in it. It was by far the best gin I have had, and yes a little on the sweeter side but just exploding with flavor. He explained the whole process to us on how they use fresh mangos and roast them and infuse them and it was very interesting! It is always to not only see the passion through someones words for what they do but for them to take the time to share with us. Thomas was also one of the bartenders that night who took the time to come over to our table and ask us what we thought about the drinks and to chat a while. They both really made us feel very special and will be the reason I make this one of the can’t miss spots I tell everyone about! Will absolutely be back one way or another to this extremely wonderful place and I can not wait!
