Called “Hello Summer,” the event will be held nationwide at Jeni’s scoop shops on Monday, June 5th from 7 pm until close. See below for what’s in store. Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game - On September 8, 2014, Charleston County Sheriff's Deputy Joe Matuskovic was killed in the line of duty. His memory continues to be honored with the 9th Annual Deputy Joe Matuskovic Memorial Hockey Game. The game is scheduled for Friday, June 2, at 7pm at Carolina Ice Palace. The evening will showcase two games involving first responders and the military: The Charleston Enforcers vs. Charleston Fire and Richland Blueliners vs. Myrtle Beach Fire. The game is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated. The funds raised will support the families of fallen first responders and those in need of assistance.
