"Pineapple buns" are another classic Hong Kong style pastry, and contrary to its name, these buns do not contain any pineapples. The name comes from the apperance of the bun which resembles the txture of a pineapple. The best way to eat the pineapple bun is with a huge slab of butter in the center, or as it's called by the locals "Bo Lo Yau", which is what Kam Wah Cafe is famous for.
