Las Coloradas Pink Lake

Las Coloradas, which is about 4 hours drive from Playa del Carmen, is known for its salt factory. But also for the pink lakes and the diverse birdlife. I would recommend this trip only with the rental car, because so you can best explore everything yourself and does not have to adapt to a time window. The one lakes are more brown, the other pink. Especially in a cloudless sky, the color appears much more intense. In addition, there are flamingos everywhere, even if they are rather shy. In the village there is nothing else to see. Fortunately, there are a few restaurants where you as a fish lover get your money. But do not worry, there are also chickens for those like me who do not like fish. You do not pay for admission!
