Marion Square

The 45th annual Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition presents the work of 60 fine art artists in a free open-air venue the entire family can enjoy. Marion Square is transformed into a beautiful open-air fine art market as South Carolina artists exhibit and personally sell their work. Visitors have a unique opportunity to watch daily painting demonstrations and to personally connect with the artists who are on site for the exhibition’s duration.

Lowcountry Artists Gallery

Lowcountry Artists Gallery presents a new exhibition of photographs by Nicole Robinson for the month of June in a show entitled “Wave Therapy.” An opening reception will be held at Lowcountry Artists Gallery, 148 East Bay Street, on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5-8 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served and the artist will be in attendance. The exhibit showcases Nicole's latest collection of photographs that bring relaxation and happiness by the shore and beyond. Summertime Jazz Series feat. Zandrina: The Summertime Jazz Series at New Realm Brewing Co. on Daniel Island features a 3-course dinner and the best jazz Charleston has to offer. Enjoy an incredible performance, locally crafted, award-winning beer from Brewmasters Mitch Steele and Geoff Belcher, and a locally sourced menu from Chef Andy McLeod. Zandrina Dunning is an accomplished vocalist and producer who performs a range of music, from soul to jazz. She can be seen performing with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra or her own band and has performed at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN, the Lincoln Theater in NYC, and other venues throughout the US and internationally with concerts that include tribute shows to Janet Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and more. Laughway to the Weekend - Come laugh it up with us half way to the weekend! This improv comedy show will feature 3 acts of hilarious improv comedy. Wednesday nights are a Charleston tradition that feature long form improv comedy.  Every show is different and completely based on audience suggestions. Show is appropriate for 15 years and older. It is not “family friendly.”  Runtime is 90 – 105 minutes.
