Polihale State Park

This once secret treasure is becoming a more and more known by travelers and tourists although still maintains its secluded heritage. It is a bit of a trek to get there and generally requires an SUV or 4x4 to access due to its road conditions but its bright orange beach line and magical sunsets make this likely the best beach experience in all of Kauai. Expert Tip: if headed to Polihale, plan to camp overnight so you can watch the sunset and wake up to the beautiful crashing waves against the sloped golden beachfront.
