RESTAURANTE BELIL SABORES DE CHIAPAS / Interconexión Social

San Cristobal de las Casas is CHOCK FULL of vegan and vegetarian options! This is one of many veg-friendly restaurants we found, and already we are giddy with excitement about all the food we will get to eat. @belil_chiapas_restaurant offers vegan and vegetarian options from their menu, which hosts local dishes native to the Chiapas state. We tried the tortilla soup and the chalupas chiapenecas, which are large tortilla chips with beans, veggies, and a side of fried plantains. Both dishes were delightful and the waiter was incredibly helpful offering vegan options and suggestions that weren’t even on the menu!
