Augustiner-Keller

Munich Hofbräu is a real institution and one of the most popular beers in the world. However, the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl is also well known. Huge tourist groups come and go here and there are definitely more Chinese than Bavarians represented. So the whole thing unfortunately has a little bit of mass processing. One of my favourite alternatives is the Augustiner Keller at the Hackerbrücke. It is centrally located in the city and offers a rustic ambience with delicious food and a large beer garden. My second choice would be the Löwenbräukeller in the Nymphenburger Straße.
