Muizenberg

We shacked up in a surfer hostile for a few days in this little beachside town for some surfing and skating. We hit up our man Gary from Gary's Surf School for boards and took to the ocean a few times. Waves were perfect for beginners and a great time to just mess around. My favorite Muizenberg moment: I was sitting on my board waiting for the swell to roll in. It started pouring rain on me. I looked up at the towering green mountains on the shoreline, being swallowed by low clouds. When the quick rainshower passed, rainbows stretched from the mountains to the ocean. It was an oasis and a feeling I'll never forget. We hopped out of the water for an incredible burger and sunset. If this sounds appealing to you, then you cannot go wrong with a trip to the Muiz. We also snagged some sweet skateboards at a skate shop called "BoardHub". These boards were our main mode of transportation around the coast.
