West Ashley Farmers Market - every Wednesday - The WAFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of local farmers and growers and features fresh seasonal produce, as well as sweet and savory foods from area vendors who source ingredients from nearby farms. The WAFM will build upon the success of the CFM by expanding access to local fresh food, supporting the local economy and local agriculture, providing a civic gathering place and opportunities for community engagement. A curated program of live entertainment, rotating food trucks and family-friendly activities will enhance the farmers’ market experience. Addressing one of the key strategies in the City of Charleston’s 2014 West Ashley Strategic Plan, the WAFM will continue to help create community partnerships and reactivate civic spaces.

BokChoyBoy & LasyChef present FILIPINO FOOD REMIXED on Sunday, May 28th. Join us to celebrate AAPI month with a six course dinner ft. both traditional dishes & our personal spins on food that we grew up with. Setrini Sison (BokChoyBoy) and Richella Acosta (LasyChef) team up with fellow Asian-Americans to curate this event that you don't want to miss! The Tattooed Moose

This Sunday, Lowcountry Dog Magazine and Hollywood Feed will host a Daiquiris & Dogs Adoption event at Tattooed Moose in Park Circle. The free and family-friendly event will run from 3 pm to 6 pm. Attendees can choose from a variety of flavors of blended frozen daiquiris including Creamsicle, Peach, and Pina Colãda, served by Carolina Daiquiri Company and Hilton Head Distillery. A portion of daiquiri sales will go to the rescues. Guests can also expect live music from The Jeff Caldwell Band, swag bags for your pet from Hollywood Feed, local vendors, and adoptable pups from Libby & Mace’s Place Animal Rescue, Greyhound Pets of America, and Berkeley Animal Center. Redux Contemporary Art Center

Intro to Screen-Printing - In this 3-week long course, you will learn the basics of screen printing. You will have either two one-color images or one image with two different colors. We will not be using computers in this class, so no Illustrator or Photoshop. Instead, we will be hand-drawing the transparencies to be burned onto the screen. You will create your image, learn how to prep and burn your screen, and then ink your image.   All materials are provided just bring your ideas.
