Glacier National Park
Glacier National Park is a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts. Beautiful lakes (including stunning Lake McDonald, waterfalls, jagged mountain peaks and 700 miles of hiking trails for all ability levels. Take the “Trail of Cedars” two miles to Avalanche Lake which is fed by waterfalls running down from Sperry Glacier. The mountains ring the lake in a way that makes you feel like you’re in a giant’s bathtub. Also don’t miss the harrowing drive along the steep mountain cliffs on “Going to the Sun” road through Logan’s Pass at the peak (stop and hike here if the fog allows) - it’s incredibly beautiful.
